Why ArmPOS

One system for sales, inventory and every branch

Most small businesses juggle a till, a stock book and a spreadsheet. ArmPOS brings your point of sale, inventory management, purchasing and accounting into one system, so every sale updates your stock and your numbers at once.

Every branch, one view

See stock in every shop and warehouse from one account, down to the rack. Move items between branches with approved transfers, and every movement is recorded.

Know before you run out

Set an alert quantity for each product. When stock falls to it, ArmPOS flags it in the notification bell and on the dashboard, branch by branch, so you reorder before a customer leaves empty-handed.

Speaks your team's language

Use ArmPOS in 24 languages, including English, Spanish, French, Arabic, Hindi and Chinese, with right-to-left screens for Arabic.

Profit you can see

Sales, profit and stock value update with every sale. Open the dashboard on any device and know how today is going, branch by branch.

Sell online too

Open your own online shop with the same products and stock. Online orders become sales in ArmPOS, so you never sell what you no longer have.

How ArmPOS works

From sign-up to daily profit

Create your free account and set up your shop in minutes. Import products, customers and suppliers from Excel, and give each person on your team their own login.

Each sale starts with a scan from a USB scanner or a phone camera and goes out by the box or by the piece, according to the units you set up, with the receipt printed on A4 for a business buyer or on 58mm paper for a walk-in customer.

Every sale, purchase, return and transfer updates your inventory. See what your stock is worth and what is running low in each branch.

Sales, profit, inventory and staff reports for any branch and any dates, ready to print or export to PDF and Excel.

Point of sale and inventory management for Angolan trade

Goods in Angola travel from the armazéns of Luanda out to cantinas in every province, in boxes, bales and crates, priced in a kwanza that rarely stands still. ArmPOS follows them along that chain and keeps your figures in the currency you trade in.

  • Notes, card and transfer

Record notes, card payments taken on your Multicaixa terminal and bank transfers as separate payment methods, and split one sale between them when a buyer pays part in cash and part by transfer, so the day's takings add up method by method.

  • When the kwanza slips

A delivery that cost more than the last one needs a single edit to the product's price, and the new figure reaches the till in Luanda and the shop in Benguela together. The ArmPOS plans themselves are converted into AOA at the day's rate on the pricing page, which makes them easy to budget for in the same currency as your rent and wages.

  • Cantinas, armazéns and parts shops

The cantina on the corner, the armazém that supplies it, pharmacies, building-materials stores and the spare-parts shops that keep Angola's cars and generators running can all sell and count their stock on ArmPOS.

  • Luanda first, then the provinces

Add a branch in Lobito or Huambo when you are ready and give it its own stock, then send goods from the Luanda warehouse by transfer, which moves nothing until a manager approves it. Once there are more than five warehouses to run, Enterprise takes over from Professional with no cap on the count.

Point of sale features

Everything you need at the counter: a fast POS screen on any device, flexible payments, and receipts your customers can keep.

  • Fast checkout

Search or scan products, apply discounts and promo codes, and complete a sale in seconds on a computer, tablet or phone.

  • Barcode scanning

Scan with a USB scanner, a phone or tablet camera, or weighing-scale labels that carry the weight in the barcode.

  • Split payments

Take cash, card and other methods in one sale, and record exactly how each customer paid.

  • Receipts and invoices

Print receipts on 58mm or 80mm thermal paper or A4, or send them by email or SMS. Turn quotations into sales and PDF invoices.

  • Held sales and returns

Park a sale and finish it later, and take returns at the till that put items straight back into stock.

  • Cash register

Open and close the register, record cash in and out, and see what the drawer should hold at the end of each shift.

  • Customers and loyalty

Keep customer records and balances, and reward repeat buyers with loyalty points they spend at the till.

  • Keeps selling offline

If the internet drops while you sell, ArmPOS keeps recording sales on the device and syncs them when you're back online.

Inventory management features

Know what you have, where it is and what it's worth, in every shop and warehouse. Your stock updates itself as you sell, buy, return and transfer.

  • Multi-branch inventory

Track stock in every shop and warehouse, down to the rack, from one account.

  • Stock transfers

Move stock between branches with transfers that need approval, so every item is accounted for.

  • Low stock alerts

Set an alert quantity per product, and the bell, the dashboard and the quantity alerts report show what to reorder in each branch.

  • Purchases and suppliers

Raise purchase orders, receive stock into the right warehouse and track what you owe each supplier.

  • Batches and expiry dates

Track batches with expiry dates and sell the earliest-expiring stock first, for pharmacies and food businesses.

  • Serial and IMEI numbers

Record serial or IMEI numbers for phones and electronics, and trace every unit from purchase to sale.

  • Variants and units

Sell in sizes and colours, by the pack or by the piece, with unit conversions handled for you.

  • Counts and adjustments

Download a count sheet by warehouse and category, then record adjustments and damages so your records match the shelf.

Run the whole business

Beyond the till: your online shop, your accounts, your team and the tools you already use, in the same system as your sales and stock.

  • Your online shop

Your own web shop with collections and banners. Customers pay by card or cash on delivery, and orders come from the same stock.

  • Accounting and profit

Expenses, cash and bank accounts, profit and loss, and a full accounting module with journals, a trial balance and a balance sheet.

  • About 60 reports

Sales, payments, tax, customers, suppliers, staff and inventory reports, including stock value, ageing and expiry, to print or export.

  • Staff and permissions

Give each person their own login and decide what they can see and do. Keep shifts, leave and attendance records too.

  • Integrations

Sync products, stock and orders with WooCommerce and Shopify, and send your sales to QuickBooks as invoices.

  • Messages and campaigns

Send invoices and marketing campaigns by email, SMS and WhatsApp to bring customers back.

  • Hardware that fits

Works with USB barcode scanners, 58mm and 80mm receipt printers, label printers, a customer display and cash drawers through QZ Tray, or simply the phone you already have.

  • Kitchen display

Send orders from the till straight to a kitchen screen, so cafés and takeaways prepare them in order without paper tickets.

Frequently asked questions

What is the best stock software for an armazém in Luanda?
An armazém lives on knowing what sits in each warehouse at any hour and what each cantina still owes for its last order. ArmPOS handles that as inventory management with a point of sale built in, so a walk-in sale and a large wholesale order are taken from the same stock and every customer balance stays current.
Is ArmPOS available in Portuguese?
Yes. Choose Portuguese on each phone, tablet or computer and the menus, buttons and reports follow. One device can stay in English for a manager who prefers it while the counter tablets run in Portuguese.
What happens to a sale when the power cuts and the generator is starting?
If the POS is already open, keep selling on a laptop, tablet or phone running on its battery, and each sale waits on the device until the connection returns, then goes up to your account. Only the very first launch of the POS on a new device has to happen online.
Can a spare-parts shop in Luanda know which shelf each part is on?
Yes. Record a rack location for every product, so a new employee finds a fan belt or a set of spark plugs without calling for help, and serial numbers stay attached to bigger items such as alternators and generator sets from the day they arrive to the day they are sold.
How do I pay for ArmPOS from Angola?
With a bank card that can pay in US dollars, which is how paid plans are charged, while the pricing section shows what that comes to in kwanzas. A cantina owner who wants to try it first pays nothing on the free Starter plan, where 1 branch, 2 users and up to 50 products come without any card details being entered.
Can I receive a container of goods into stock in one go?
Yes. Enter the purchase order with the supplier's quantities, then receive it into the right warehouse when the container is unloaded. Cartons convert into single pieces through the units you defined, and the amount still owed to the supplier is tracked until it is paid off.
Is ArmPOS simple enough for a small cantina with one counter?
Yes. One phone is enough to run a cantina, tapping or scanning each item, taking the kwanzas and checking the dashboard at closing for the day's takings and the products running low. Give a relative their own login for the counter and you can still see every sale from your own phone.
How do I stop stock disappearing between the warehouse and the shop?
Count the shelves with a stock count, record broken or spoiled goods as damages rather than letting them vanish from the figures, and adjust the numbers so the system matches what is there. Looking back over the adjustments at the end of each month shows which branch is losing the most stock, and where to look first.
