Point of Sale & Inventory Management Software in Eswatini

Much of what an Eswatini shop sells is bought in South Africa and priced here in emalangeni. ArmPOS follows each item through point of sale software and inventory management, from the rand invoice to your till slip.

Why ArmPOS

One system for sales, inventory and every branch

Most small businesses juggle a till, a stock book and a spreadsheet. ArmPOS brings your point of sale, inventory management, purchasing and accounting into one system, so every sale updates your stock and your numbers at once.

Every branch, one view

See stock in every shop and warehouse from one account, down to the rack. Move items between branches with approved transfers, and every movement is recorded.

Know before you run out

Set an alert quantity for each product. When stock falls to it, ArmPOS flags it in the notification bell and on the dashboard, branch by branch, so you reorder before a customer leaves empty-handed.

Speaks your team's language

Use ArmPOS in 24 languages, including English, Spanish, French, Arabic, Hindi and Chinese, with right-to-left screens for Arabic.

Profit you can see

Sales, profit and stock value update with every sale. Open the dashboard on any device and know how today is going, branch by branch.

Sell online too

Open your own online shop with the same products and stock. Online orders become sales in ArmPOS, so you never sell what you no longer have.

How ArmPOS works

From sign-up to daily profit

Create your free account and set up your shop in minutes. Import products, customers and suppliers from Excel, and give each person on your team their own login.

Scan the case or the single item, take a card tap, notes or an EFT, then print the slip or email it.

Every sale, purchase, return and transfer updates your inventory. See what your stock is worth and what is running low in each branch.

Sales, profit, inventory and staff reports for any branch and any dates, ready to print or export to PDF and Excel.

For The Hub and the towns around it

Manzini is where the country trades, with Matsapha's factories next door and Mbabane up the road. ArmPOS gives a business in any of them one account for its tills, its stock and its staff, with every figure in emalangeni.

  • Card taps, notes and EFTs on one sale

Customers tap a card on your bank's terminal, count out notes or settle by EFT, and the cashier picks that method on the sale. The terminal itself stays outside ArmPOS; only the method is recorded. A bill paid partly by card and partly in notes is split in two, and each method keeps its own daily total.

  • One figure for a lilangeni and a rand

The lilangeni is pegged one to one with the rand, and rand notes are accepted here. So a shelf price of E25 is 25 rand too, and the cashier takes either without a sum. The plan cards on this page show emalangeni as well, converted at the day's rate.

  • Wholesalers, craft shops and Lowveld stores

A wholesaler in Manzini sells cooking oil and maize meal by the case to shops from Siteki to Nhlangano. A craft shop in Malkerns or the Ezulwini Valley sells candles, baskets and glass to visitors, each colour under its own barcode. A store in Simunye or Big Bend carries groceries and hardware in one stock count.

  • A branch per town, one set of books

Mbabane, Piggs Peak and Siteki can each become a branch under the same login, holding their own stock and cashiers. Stock leaves the Manzini store only on a transfer someone must approve. Every branch reports on its own, and you can open any of them from your phone.

Point of sale features

Everything you need at the counter: a fast POS screen on any device, flexible payments, and receipts your customers can keep.

  • Fast checkout

Search or scan products, apply discounts and promo codes, and complete a sale in seconds on a computer, tablet or phone.

  • Barcode scanning

Scan with a USB scanner, a phone or tablet camera, or weighing-scale labels that carry the weight in the barcode.

  • Split payments

Take cash, card and other methods in one sale, and record exactly how each customer paid.

  • Receipts and invoices

Print receipts on 58mm or 80mm thermal paper or A4, or send them by email or SMS. Turn quotations into sales and PDF invoices.

  • Held sales and returns

Park a sale and finish it later, and take returns at the till that put items straight back into stock.

  • Cash register

Open and close the register, record cash in and out, and see what the drawer should hold at the end of each shift.

  • Customers and loyalty

Keep customer records and balances, and reward repeat buyers with loyalty points they spend at the till.

  • Keeps selling offline

If the internet drops while you sell, ArmPOS keeps recording sales on the device and syncs them when you're back online.

Inventory management features

Know what you have, where it is and what it's worth, in every shop and warehouse. Your stock updates itself as you sell, buy, return and transfer.

  • Multi-branch inventory

Track stock in every shop and warehouse, down to the rack, from one account.

  • Stock transfers

Move stock between branches with transfers that need approval, so every item is accounted for.

  • Low stock alerts

Set an alert quantity per product, and the bell, the dashboard and the quantity alerts report show what to reorder in each branch.

  • Purchases and suppliers

Raise purchase orders, receive stock into the right warehouse and track what you owe each supplier.

  • Batches and expiry dates

Track batches with expiry dates and sell the earliest-expiring stock first, for pharmacies and food businesses.

  • Serial and IMEI numbers

Record serial or IMEI numbers for phones and electronics, and trace every unit from purchase to sale.

  • Variants and units

Sell in sizes and colours, by the pack or by the piece, with unit conversions handled for you.

  • Counts and adjustments

Download a count sheet by warehouse and category, then record adjustments and damages so your records match the shelf.

Run the whole business

Beyond the till: your online shop, your accounts, your team and the tools you already use, in the same system as your sales and stock.

  • Your online shop

Your own web shop with collections and banners. Customers pay by card or cash on delivery, and orders come from the same stock.

  • Accounting and profit

Expenses, cash and bank accounts, profit and loss, and a full accounting module with journals, a trial balance and a balance sheet.

  • About 60 reports

Sales, payments, tax, customers, suppliers, staff and inventory reports, including stock value, ageing and expiry, to print or export.

  • Staff and permissions

Give each person their own login and decide what they can see and do. Keep shifts, leave and attendance records too.

  • Integrations

Sync products, stock and orders with WooCommerce and Shopify, and send your sales to QuickBooks as invoices.

  • Messages and campaigns

Send invoices and marketing campaigns by email, SMS and WhatsApp to bring customers back.

  • Hardware that fits

Works with USB barcode scanners, 58mm and 80mm receipt printers, label printers, a customer display and cash drawers through QZ Tray, or simply the phone you already have.

  • Kitchen display

Send orders from the till straight to a kitchen screen, so cafés and takeaways prepare them in order without paper tickets.

Frequently asked questions

What is the best POS system for a wholesaler in Manzini?
A Manzini wholesaler needs a till that counts cases and singles together and knows what each buyer owes, and ArmPOS does both. Buy cooking oil by the case of 12 and sell it by the case or the bottle, and one stock figure follows both. Regular buyers take goods on account, up to a credit limit the till will not let them pass.
I take a stand at the trade fair in Manzini. Can its stock be kept apart from the shop?
Yes. Set the stand up as its own warehouse, if your plan has room for one, and send goods there on an approved transfer. Sell from a phone at the stand, then transfer whatever is left back to the shop. The reports show what the stand sold, apart from the shop's figures.
My craft shop in Malkerns sells candles in many colours. Does each one need a separate product?
No. The candle is one product, and each colour and size becomes a variant with a separate count. Your label printer makes a barcode for each hand-made piece, so the cashier scans it instead of searching for it.
My stock list lives in an Excel sheet. Can I bring it in?
Yes. Import products, customers and suppliers from Excel, so the shop opens with its real stock on day one. Past sales and purchases can follow from a CSV file, which gives your reports a history to compare against.
Can I see my Simunye store's takings while I am in Mbabane?
Yes. Sign in from any phone or computer, and the dashboard shows each branch's sales, stock and profit for the day. Staff in Simunye see only their own branch, because their logins are limited to it.
A customer brings back a case of drinks. Does it go back into stock?
Yes. Find the original sale, return the case, and its units rejoin the shelf count at once. The refund is recorded with the method you paid it out by, so the drawer still balances at closing.
Which currency is my ArmPOS plan charged in?
US dollars, on a card. The emalangeni amount beside each plan follows the rand against the dollar, so it shifts a little from month to month. Starter is the free plan, and signing up for it takes no card. What each paid plan includes is on the plan cards on this page.
Can my cashiers sell without being able to change prices?
Yes. Give the cashier a role that sells, holds sales and takes returns but cannot edit a product. Only you, or a manager you choose, can change what a case of oil costs on the shelf.
