One till for visitors and residents, on three islands

Point of Sale & Inventory Management Software in Seychelles

One counter in Seychelles can serve islanders and visitors in the same hour, and ArmPOS keeps up with both. ArmPOS's point of sale software and inventory management track a separate stock on Mahé, Praslin and La Digue, and price everything in rupees.

Why ArmPOS

One system for sales, inventory and every branch

Most small businesses juggle a till, a stock book and a spreadsheet. ArmPOS brings your point of sale, inventory management, purchasing and accounting into one system, so every sale updates your stock and your numbers at once.

Every branch, one view

See stock in every shop and warehouse from one account, down to the rack. Move items between branches with approved transfers, and every movement is recorded.

Know before you run out

Set an alert quantity for each product. When stock falls to it, ArmPOS flags it in the notification bell and on the dashboard, branch by branch, so you reorder before a customer leaves empty-handed.

Speaks your team's language

Use ArmPOS in 24 languages, including English, Spanish, French, Arabic, Hindi and Chinese, with right-to-left screens for Arabic.

Profit you can see

Sales, profit and stock value update with every sale. Open the dashboard on any device and know how today is going, branch by branch.

Sell online too

Open your own online shop with the same products and stock. Online orders become sales in ArmPOS, so you never sell what you no longer have.

How ArmPOS works

From sign-up to daily profit

Create your free account and set up your shop in minutes. Import products, customers and suppliers from Excel, and give each person on your team their own login.

Tap the dish in the product grid or scan the bottle, then take cash, a card on your terminal or both. Print an 80mm receipt, or email it to a visitor who wants a copy for the trip home.

Every sale, purchase, return and transfer updates your inventory. See what your stock is worth and what is running low in each branch.

Sales, profit, inventory and staff reports for any branch and any dates, ready to print or export to PDF and Excel.

Visitors, residents and three islands

Seychelles recorded almost 400,000 visitor arrivals in 2025, several times its own population. The same shop sells a bottle of water to a hotel guest and a week of groceries to a family from Anse Royale. ArmPOS keeps both kinds of sale in one stock count, on whichever island the shop stands.

  • Cards from visitors, notes from regulars

Card terminals are common in Victoria and the resorts, while neighbourhood shops and the market still take plenty of cash. Whichever the customer uses, the cashier tags the sale with it, and a card runs through your own terminal, which ArmPOS never connects to. Part in rupee notes and part by card is one bill, not two. Every method you add in Settings, such as a second terminal, gets its own line in the payments report.

  • Rupees on every receipt

A takeaway's lunch plate, a souvenir and a crate of drinks are all priced and reported in rupees, the one currency of the shop. On the pricing section, each paid plan carries a rupee amount from the day's exchange rate, while the plan itself is billed in US dollars.

  • Takeaways, souvenir shops and grocers

A takeaway in Victoria serves curry and rice from a display cabinet, in small or large portions. On Praslin, a licensed shop selling coco-de-mer traces every nut by the number on its tag. A grocer on La Digue scans the cold drinks that visitors carry to the beach.

  • Mahé, Praslin and La Digue

Mahé, Praslin and La Digue can each have a shop under one account, staffed and stocked apart. Crates that cross on the ferry travel on a stock transfer, which a manager must accept before Praslin's count rises. Each island's takings can then be read alone or side by side.

Point of sale features

Everything you need at the counter: a fast POS screen on any device, flexible payments, and receipts your customers can keep.

  • Fast checkout

Search or scan products, apply discounts and promo codes, and complete a sale in seconds on a computer, tablet or phone.

  • Barcode scanning

Scan with a USB scanner, a phone or tablet camera, or weighing-scale labels that carry the weight in the barcode.

  • Split payments

Take cash, card and other methods in one sale, and record exactly how each customer paid.

  • Receipts and invoices

Print receipts on 58mm or 80mm thermal paper or A4, or send them by email or SMS. Turn quotations into sales and PDF invoices.

  • Held sales and returns

Park a sale and finish it later, and take returns at the till that put items straight back into stock.

  • Cash register

Open and close the register, record cash in and out, and see what the drawer should hold at the end of each shift.

  • Customers and loyalty

Keep customer records and balances, and reward repeat buyers with loyalty points they spend at the till.

  • Keeps selling offline

If the internet drops while you sell, ArmPOS keeps recording sales on the device and syncs them when you're back online.

Inventory management features

Know what you have, where it is and what it's worth, in every shop and warehouse. Your stock updates itself as you sell, buy, return and transfer.

  • Multi-branch inventory

Track stock in every shop and warehouse, down to the rack, from one account.

  • Stock transfers

Move stock between branches with transfers that need approval, so every item is accounted for.

  • Low stock alerts

Set an alert quantity per product, and the bell, the dashboard and the quantity alerts report show what to reorder in each branch.

  • Purchases and suppliers

Raise purchase orders, receive stock into the right warehouse and track what you owe each supplier.

  • Batches and expiry dates

Track batches with expiry dates and sell the earliest-expiring stock first, for pharmacies and food businesses.

  • Serial and IMEI numbers

Record serial or IMEI numbers for phones and electronics, and trace every unit from purchase to sale.

  • Variants and units

Sell in sizes and colours, by the pack or by the piece, with unit conversions handled for you.

  • Counts and adjustments

Download a count sheet by warehouse and category, then record adjustments and damages so your records match the shelf.

Run the whole business

Beyond the till: your online shop, your accounts, your team and the tools you already use, in the same system as your sales and stock.

  • Your online shop

Your own web shop with collections and banners. Customers pay by card or cash on delivery, and orders come from the same stock.

  • Accounting and profit

Expenses, cash and bank accounts, profit and loss, and a full accounting module with journals, a trial balance and a balance sheet.

  • About 60 reports

Sales, payments, tax, customers, suppliers, staff and inventory reports, including stock value, ageing and expiry, to print or export.

  • Staff and permissions

Give each person their own login and decide what they can see and do. Keep shifts, leave and attendance records too.

  • Integrations

Sync products, stock and orders with WooCommerce and Shopify, and send your sales to QuickBooks as invoices.

  • Messages and campaigns

Send invoices and marketing campaigns by email, SMS and WhatsApp to bring customers back.

  • Hardware that fits

Works with USB barcode scanners, 58mm and 80mm receipt printers, label printers, a customer display and cash drawers through QZ Tray, or simply the phone you already have.

  • Kitchen display

Send orders from the till straight to a kitchen screen, so cafés and takeaways prepare them in order without paper tickets.

Frequently asked questions

What is the best POS system for a shop that serves both visitors and residents in Seychelles?
Choose one that rings up a visitor's single bottle as fast as a family's weekly shop, with one stock count behind both. ArmPOS runs on a phone, tablet or computer you already own, scans with the camera and prints or emails each receipt. Behind the counter, every sale updates the stock of the island where it happened.
I sell coco-de-mer nuts. Can ArmPOS trace each one by its tag number?
Yes. Enter each nut's tag number as its serial number when it comes into stock, and the sale records which nut went to which buyer. ArmPOS does not issue or check the permit; it simply keeps the number with the purchase and the sale.
How do I send stock from Mahé to my shop on Praslin?
Raise a stock transfer at the Mahé store, listing what goes on the ferry. The crates stay on Mahé's count while they cross, and join Praslin's only when a manager there accepts the transfer. On the dashboard, the two islands then show their sales and stock apart.
My takeaway sells the same curry in small and large portions. How do I set that up?
Enter the dish once, then give it two variants, small and large, priced separately. At lunchtime the cashier taps the dish, then the size. A customer who goes back for a drink waits on a held sale while the queue moves on.
Visitors pay by card and regulars pay cash. Can I see each total at closing?
Yes. Each sale carries its method, so the payments report gives the day's card and cash takings apart. The cash register shows what the drawer should hold after the float and any cash taken out. A bill paid half in notes and half by card counts in both totals.
I take on extra staff in busy months. Can each person have their own login and limited rights?
Yes. Give each new hand a personal login and a role, and the role sets what they see and touch. A new cashier can sell and take returns without changing prices or opening the reports. Shift and attendance records show who worked each day.
Can I reward residents who shop with me every week?
Yes. Save each regular as a customer record: loyalty points build up on what they buy and are spent at the till next time. A promo code can run a weekend offer for residents, and each customer's history shows what they bought and when.
How is ArmPOS paid for from Seychelles?
Card only, at the plan's US dollar price, once you outgrow the free Starter plan. Starter takes no card at sign-up, so a small shop can begin selling on it today. Each plan's contents are listed in the pricing section, with a rupee figure based on the day's exchange rate.
