Why ArmPOS

One system for sales, inventory and every branch

Most small businesses juggle a till, a stock book and a spreadsheet. ArmPOS brings your point of sale, inventory management, purchasing and accounting into one system, so every sale updates your stock and your numbers at once.

Every branch, one view

See stock in every shop and warehouse from one account, down to the rack. Move items between branches with approved transfers, and every movement is recorded.

Know before you run out

Set an alert quantity for each product. When stock falls to it, ArmPOS flags it in the notification bell and on the dashboard, branch by branch, so you reorder before a customer leaves empty-handed.

Speaks your team's language

Use ArmPOS in 24 languages, including English, Spanish, French, Arabic, Hindi and Chinese, with right-to-left screens for Arabic.

Profit you can see

Sales, profit and stock value update with every sale. Open the dashboard on any device and know how today is going, branch by branch.

Sell online too

Open your own online shop with the same products and stock. Online orders become sales in ArmPOS, so you never sell what you no longer have.

How ArmPOS works

From sign-up to daily profit

Create your free account and set up your shop in minutes. Import products, customers and suppliers from Excel, and give each person on your team their own login.

Scan the label or search for the product, then take cash, a card or a transfer. When a customer pays with two, split the bill, and print the receipt or email it.

Every sale, purchase, return and transfer updates your inventory. See what your stock is worth and what is running low in each branch.

Sales, profit, inventory and staff reports for any branch and any dates, ready to print or export to PDF and Excel.

Two languages, one carnet, prices in rupees

A Mauritian counter can switch from English to French in the same hour, and the boutik has long sold to regulars on a carnet. ArmPOS keeps the till, the tab and the stock in one account, from Port Louis to Grand Baie.

  • Card, cash or transfer, each counted

Bigger shops take cards on their own machine, the boutik still sees plenty of notes, and some customers pay by bank transfer. Each sale carries whichever method the cashier picked, with no link to the card machine itself. Set up one method per terminal or bank account in Settings, and the payments report totals each separately.

  • A weaker rupee, a dearer container

Much of what fills a Mauritian shelf arrives by ship, so a weaker rupee shows up with each new container. The stock value report tells you, in rupees, what your shelves hold before you decide which prices to raise.

  • Boutiks, hardware stores and textile stalls

In Rose Hill, a boutik keeps each family's balance. In Curepipe, a quincaillerie sells paint by the tin and cuts cable to length. At Quatre Bornes market, a clothes stall puts a barcode on every size and colour.

  • Port Louis, Curepipe and the coast

A second shop in Curepipe or Grand Baie joins the same account, staffed and stocked separately. Goods sent from the Port Louis stockroom stay on its count until a manager signs off the transfer. Each shop's takings are then read on their own.

Point of sale features

Everything you need at the counter: a fast POS screen on any device, flexible payments, and receipts your customers can keep.

  • Fast checkout

Search or scan products, apply discounts and promo codes, and complete a sale in seconds on a computer, tablet or phone.

  • Barcode scanning

Scan with a USB scanner, a phone or tablet camera, or weighing-scale labels that carry the weight in the barcode.

  • Split payments

Take cash, card and other methods in one sale, and record exactly how each customer paid.

  • Receipts and invoices

Print receipts on 58mm or 80mm thermal paper or A4, or send them by email or SMS. Turn quotations into sales and PDF invoices.

  • Held sales and returns

Park a sale and finish it later, and take returns at the till that put items straight back into stock.

  • Cash register

Open and close the register, record cash in and out, and see what the drawer should hold at the end of each shift.

  • Customers and loyalty

Keep customer records and balances, and reward repeat buyers with loyalty points they spend at the till.

  • Keeps selling offline

If the internet drops while you sell, ArmPOS keeps recording sales on the device and syncs them when you're back online.

Inventory management features

Know what you have, where it is and what it's worth, in every shop and warehouse. Your stock updates itself as you sell, buy, return and transfer.

  • Multi-branch inventory

Track stock in every shop and warehouse, down to the rack, from one account.

  • Stock transfers

Move stock between branches with transfers that need approval, so every item is accounted for.

  • Low stock alerts

Set an alert quantity per product, and the bell, the dashboard and the quantity alerts report show what to reorder in each branch.

  • Purchases and suppliers

Raise purchase orders, receive stock into the right warehouse and track what you owe each supplier.

  • Batches and expiry dates

Track batches with expiry dates and sell the earliest-expiring stock first, for pharmacies and food businesses.

  • Serial and IMEI numbers

Record serial or IMEI numbers for phones and electronics, and trace every unit from purchase to sale.

  • Variants and units

Sell in sizes and colours, by the pack or by the piece, with unit conversions handled for you.

  • Counts and adjustments

Download a count sheet by warehouse and category, then record adjustments and damages so your records match the shelf.

Run the whole business

Beyond the till: your online shop, your accounts, your team and the tools you already use, in the same system as your sales and stock.

  • Your online shop

Your own web shop with collections and banners. Customers pay by card or cash on delivery, and orders come from the same stock.

  • Accounting and profit

Expenses, cash and bank accounts, profit and loss, and a full accounting module with journals, a trial balance and a balance sheet.

  • About 60 reports

Sales, payments, tax, customers, suppliers, staff and inventory reports, including stock value, ageing and expiry, to print or export.

  • Staff and permissions

Give each person their own login and decide what they can see and do. Keep shifts, leave and attendance records too.

  • Integrations

Sync products, stock and orders with WooCommerce and Shopify, and send your sales to QuickBooks as invoices.

  • Messages and campaigns

Send invoices and marketing campaigns by email, SMS and WhatsApp to bring customers back.

  • Hardware that fits

Works with USB barcode scanners, 58mm and 80mm receipt printers, label printers, a customer display and cash drawers through QZ Tray, or simply the phone you already have.

  • Kitchen display

Send orders from the till straight to a kitchen screen, so cafés and takeaways prepare them in order without paper tickets.

Frequently asked questions

What is the best POS system for a boutik in Mauritius?
Look for one that sells quickly at the counter, keeps each regular's tab and shows what to reorder. ArmPOS does all three on a phone or tablet, so a boutik can start without buying a till. The free plan lets you try it on your own shelves first.
Can my staff use French at the till while the office works in English?
Yes, because ArmPOS sets the language on each device rather than for each user. Put the counter tablet in French for the staff who prefer it. The laptop in the back office stays in English, and both work on the same sales and stock.
Can ArmPOS replace the carnet my regulars buy on?
Yes. A sale on credit goes onto the customer's account, and each payment brings the balance down. Set a credit limit for every family, and the till refuses a sale that would take them past it. The customers report shows who owes what at month end.
I sell clothes at Quatre Bornes market. Can each size and colour have a barcode?
Yes. Create the shirt once and add a variant for every size and colour, each with its own barcode and count. Print the tags on a label printer, and before market day you can see which sizes are running low.
Does ArmPOS suit a hardware store selling cable, paint and screws?
Yes. Define cable as a roll of 100 metres and sell it by the metre, and the stock stays right in rolls and metres. Rack locations show where each item sits, so a new hand finds the right screws without asking.
How is ArmPOS priced in rupees, and how do I pay?
Each paid plan goes on your card in US dollars. Beside each plan, the pricing section prints a rupee amount worked out from today's rate, so that amount drifts while the dollar price holds. Starter, the free plan, holds 1 branch, 2 users and up to 50 products, enough for a small boutik's fast sellers. A growing chain moves to Professional for up to 5 warehouses, or to Enterprise for no ceiling at all.
Can I sell online to customers around the island?
Yes. Your web shop gets its own collections and banners and draws on the same stock as the counter. A shirt sold at the Port Louis counter therefore comes off the web shop's count as well. If you already run WooCommerce or Shopify, ArmPOS keeps products, stock and orders in step with it instead.
Can a takeaway in Port Louis send orders straight to the kitchen?
Yes. Each order rung up at the counter appears on a kitchen screen, so the cooks start without a paper slip. The counter keeps selling while the kitchen works through the queue.
