Names like these, in green, are pages inside your ArmPOS shop. Sign in to your shop to open them.

By the end you will have a checklist your technicians tick on every job, such as the checks before a blender goes back, and a report of what was done.

Checklists come with service jobs, which some plans include. See Service and repair jobs.

Make the checklist

Checklists have categories, and each category has its items.

  1. Open Sell › Service & Maintenance › Checklist Categories.
  2. Type the Name and the Description, such as Small appliance check, and click Save.
  3. Open Checklist Items and click Create.
  4. Pick the Category and type the item, such as No leaks from the jug, then click Create. The item's field shows its label as Item_Name.
  5. Repeat for each check.
Checklist Categories: the form with Name, Description, Reset and Save, and the List with Small appliance check, "Before a blender, kettle or microwave goes back".
One category per kind of item you service.
The checklist item window: Category Small appliance check, Item_Name "No leaks from the jug", Cancel and Create.
Write each check as something a technician can say yes to.
Checklist Items: Small appliance check with No leaks from the jug, Power cable and plug intact, and Runs at every speed.
Every item shows on every job's Diagnostic tab.

Tick it on a job

Open the job and its Diagnostic tab: every item shows under Checklist as a switch. Switch on each check done, and click Save.

SJ_1111's Diagnostic tab: the Diagnosis, Diagnostic Fee 5, and Checklist with No leaks from the jug off, Power cable and plug intact on, and Runs at every speed on.
A dark switch is a check done.

Every job shows every item, whatever the item is: keep the list to the checks you do on most jobs.

Reports

Under Reports:

  • Checklist Completion Report counts, per category, the Total Items and the Completed Items. Narrow it by Customer, Technician and dates.
  • Service Jobs Report lists the jobs with their customer, technician, item, type and status.
  • Customer Maintenance History Report lists one customer's jobs over time.
Checklist Completion Report: Customer, Technician, From, To and Print, then Small appliance check, Total Items 3, Completed Items 2.
Two of the three checks were ticked on the jobs in this period.
