Why ArmPOS

One system for sales, inventory and every branch

Most small businesses juggle a till, a stock book and a spreadsheet. ArmPOS brings your point of sale, inventory management, purchasing and accounting into one system, so every sale updates your stock and your numbers at once.

Every branch, one view

See stock in every shop and warehouse from one account, down to the rack. Move items between branches with approved transfers, and every movement is recorded.

Know before you run out

Set an alert quantity for each product. When stock falls to it, ArmPOS flags it in the notification bell and on the dashboard, branch by branch, so you reorder before a customer leaves empty-handed.

Speaks your team's language

Use ArmPOS in 24 languages, including English, Spanish, French, Arabic, Hindi and Chinese, with right-to-left screens for Arabic.

Profit you can see

Sales, profit and stock value update with every sale. Open the dashboard on any device and know how today is going, branch by branch.

Sell online too

Open your own online shop with the same products and stock. Online orders become sales in ArmPOS, so you never sell what you no longer have.

How ArmPOS works

From sign-up to daily profit

Create your free account and set up your shop in minutes. Import products, customers and suppliers from Excel, and give each person on your team their own login.

Scan a tin or search for the item, let the customer pay by MTN MoMo, Airtel Money or cash, show the running total on the customer display, and print a ticket in CFA francs.

Every sale, purchase, return and transfer updates your inventory. See what your stock is worth and what is running low in each branch.

Sales, profit, inventory and staff reports for any branch and any dates, ready to print or export to PDF and Excel.

For the shops of Brazzaville, Pointe-Noire and Dolisie

Trade in Congo-Brazzaville moves between the markets of the capital and the port city of Pointe-Noire, where imported goods come ashore. ArmPOS gives the alimentation, the quincaillerie and the pharmacy one place for the till, the stock and the money, priced in CFA francs.

  • MTN MoMo and Airtel Money, side by side

Shoppers at the Marché Total pay from whichever wallet they carry, MTN MoMo or Airtel Money, and so do customers ordering from your online shop. ArmPOS files every payment under its sale and keeps the cash next to it, so the evening count starts from figures rather than from text messages read one by one.

  • Every price in CFA francs

Set XAF as the shop's currency and every shelf price, ticket and stock value is worked out in CFA francs. When the shop moves to a paid plan, the pricing page converts it into XAF that same day, and one MTN MoMo or Airtel Money payment covers it.

  • Alimentations, quincailleries and pharmacies

An alimentation générale in Poto-Poto scans tins, rice and soap at a crowded counter, a quincaillerie in Pointe-Noire sells screws by the box or one at a time, and a pharmacy in Dolisie keeps every medicine in dated batches so the oldest leaves the shelf first.

  • Brazzaville, then Pointe-Noire and Dolisie

Open a second shop in Pointe-Noire or Dolisie on the account you already run in Brazzaville. Goods sent from one to the other travel on a transfer that stays on hold until it is approved, each shop keeps its own stock and team, and the month's results can be read shop by shop.

Point of sale features

Everything you need at the counter: a fast POS screen on any device, flexible payments, and receipts your customers can keep.

  • Fast checkout

Search or scan products, apply discounts and promo codes, and complete a sale in seconds on a computer, tablet or phone.

  • Barcode scanning

Scan with a USB scanner, a phone or tablet camera, or weighing-scale labels that carry the weight in the barcode.

  • Mobile money

Take MTN MoMo and Airtel Money at the till and in your online shop.

  • Receipts and invoices

Print receipts on 58mm or 80mm thermal paper or A4, or send them by email or SMS. Turn quotations into sales and PDF invoices.

  • Held sales and returns

Park a sale and finish it later, and take returns at the till that put items straight back into stock.

  • Cash register

Open and close the register, record cash in and out, and see what the drawer should hold at the end of each shift.

  • Customers and loyalty

Keep customer records and balances, and reward repeat buyers with loyalty points they spend at the till.

  • Keeps selling offline

If the internet drops while you sell, ArmPOS keeps recording sales on the device and syncs them when you're back online.

Inventory management features

Know what you have, where it is and what it's worth, in every shop and warehouse. Your stock updates itself as you sell, buy, return and transfer.

  • Multi-branch inventory

Track stock in every shop and warehouse, down to the rack, from one account.

  • Stock transfers

Move stock between branches with transfers that need approval, so every item is accounted for.

  • Low stock alerts

Set an alert quantity per product, and the bell, the dashboard and the quantity alerts report show what to reorder in each branch.

  • Purchases and suppliers

Raise purchase orders, receive stock into the right warehouse and track what you owe each supplier.

  • Batches and expiry dates

Track batches with expiry dates and sell the earliest-expiring stock first, for pharmacies and food businesses.

  • Serial and IMEI numbers

Record serial or IMEI numbers for phones and electronics, and trace every unit from purchase to sale.

  • Variants and units

Sell in sizes and colours, by the pack or by the piece, with unit conversions handled for you.

  • Counts and adjustments

Download a count sheet by warehouse and category, then record adjustments and damages so your records match the shelf.

Run the whole business

Beyond the till: your online shop, your accounts, your team and the tools you already use, in the same system as your sales and stock.

  • Your online shop

Your own web shop with collections and banners. Customers pay by card or cash on delivery, and orders come from the same stock.

  • Accounting and profit

Expenses, cash and bank accounts, profit and loss, and a full accounting module with journals, a trial balance and a balance sheet.

  • About 60 reports

Sales, payments, tax, customers, suppliers, staff and inventory reports, including stock value, ageing and expiry, to print or export.

  • Staff and permissions

Give each person their own login and decide what they can see and do. Keep shifts, leave and attendance records too.

  • Integrations

Sync products, stock and orders with WooCommerce and Shopify, and send your sales to QuickBooks as invoices.

  • Messages and campaigns

Send invoices and marketing campaigns by email, SMS and WhatsApp to bring customers back.

  • Hardware that fits

Works with USB barcode scanners, 58mm and 80mm receipt printers, label printers, a customer display and cash drawers through QZ Tray, or simply the phone you already have.

  • Kitchen display

Send orders from the till straight to a kitchen screen, so cafés and takeaways prepare them in order without paper tickets.

Frequently asked questions

What is the best point of sale for an alimentation générale in Brazzaville?
One that keeps up with a queue and tells you what is running out. ArmPOS reads barcodes with a USB scanner or the phone's camera, parks a sale while a customer fetches one more item, and lets you give each product an alert quantity, so rice, oil or soap shows under the notification bell before the shelf is bare.
Half my customers use MTN MoMo and the other half Airtel Money. Does ArmPOS take both?
Yes, from any paid plan. Both wallets work at the counter and in your online shop, through the shop's own MarzPay account, and each payment is attached to the sale it paid. When a customer pays part by mobile money and the rest in cash, the cashier enters both on one ticket, and the day's report gives a total for each method.
My quincaillerie sells paint in several colours and screws by the box or one at a time. Can ArmPOS keep that straight?
Yes. Each colour of paint becomes a variant of one product with a barcode of its own, so the white tins and the blue tins are counted separately. Screws, nails and bolts can be bought by the box and sold either whole or loose, and the stock stays right in both units.
Can customers see the total on a screen facing them while the cashier rings up?
Yes. Connect a customer display to the till and each item appears on it with its price as the cashier adds it, followed by the total to pay. In a busy Brazzaville shop, the buyer checks the bill before handing over banknotes or confirming a mobile money payment.
Rent and transport come out of the takings. Can I see what the shop really earns?
Yes. Record each expense as you pay it, from the rent to the cost of bringing goods up from Pointe-Noire, and ArmPOS sets it against your sales in the profit and loss statement. Cash and bank accounts, journals and the balance sheet live beside it, which spares you retyping the month for an accountant.
Some customers settle at the end of the month. Can I see who still owes me, and how much?
Yes. A sale left unpaid or part paid goes onto that customer's running balance, and new credit stops at the limit you gave them. The customers report sets out what each one owes, with every sale and payment behind the figure, so you know which regulars to visit first.
Is there a free plan, and what do the paid ones cost in CFA francs?
Yes, Starter, and signing up for it involves no card. It is sized for 1 branch, 2 users and up to 50 products, which suits a small boutique or a single counter while you learn your way around. Each paid plan is turned into CFA francs on the day you look at it, and you pay that figure from your MTN MoMo or Airtel Money account. Past one counter, Professional handles as many as 5 warehouses, and Enterprise is there when even that is too few.
I want to sell online to customers in Pointe-Noire. Can the web shop use the same stock?
Yes. ArmPOS gives you your own online shop, arranged in collections with banners on the front page, and every web order comes out of the stock your counter sells from, so the shelf and the website never keep two separate counts. Buyers pay by MTN MoMo, Airtel Money or card, or in cash when the order is delivered.
