Why ArmPOS

One system for sales, inventory and every branch

Most small businesses juggle a till, a stock book and a spreadsheet. ArmPOS brings your point of sale, inventory management, purchasing and accounting into one system, so every sale updates your stock and your numbers at once.

Every branch, one view

See stock in every shop and warehouse from one account, down to the rack. Move items between branches with approved transfers, and every movement is recorded.

Know before you run out

Set an alert quantity for each product. When stock falls to it, ArmPOS flags it in the notification bell and on the dashboard, branch by branch, so you reorder before a customer leaves empty-handed.

Speaks your team's language

Use ArmPOS in 24 languages, including English, Spanish, French, Arabic, Hindi and Chinese, with right-to-left screens for Arabic.

Profit you can see

Sales, profit and stock value update with every sale. Open the dashboard on any device and know how today is going, branch by branch.

Sell online too

Open your own online shop with the same products and stock. Online orders become sales in ArmPOS, so you never sell what you no longer have.

How ArmPOS works

From sign-up to daily profit

Create your free account and set up your shop in minutes. Import products, customers and suppliers from Excel, and give each person on your team their own login.

Tap the dishes and drinks on the screen or scan the item, let the customer pay by MTN MoMo, Orange Money or cash, and print the bill on an 80mm printer while the order shows in the kitchen.

Every sale, purchase, return and transfer updates your inventory. See what your stock is worth and what is running low in each branch.

Sales, profit, inventory and staff reports for any branch and any dates, ready to print or export to PDF and Excel.

From Yopougon's maquis to the shops of the Plateau

An Abidjan owner might buy stock in Adjamé in the morning and close the maquis in Yopougon well after dark. ArmPOS gives each business a till, a stock list and a record of every payment, all on one account the owner can open from a phone.

  • MTN MoMo and Orange Money

On a paid plan, a guest at a maquis table can settle by MTN MoMo or Orange Money, collected through your shop's own MarzPay account, and so can someone ordering a delivery from your online shop. The payment is stored on the sale it settled, next to any cash or card the customer used for the rest of the bill.

  • CFA francs, from the bill to the plan

A maquis bill, a superette receipt and the month's profit report all read in CFA francs. On the pricing section each paid plan carries an XOF figure at the day's rate, and that is the sum an Abidjan owner sends by MTN MoMo or Orange Money to upgrade.

  • Phone shops, cosmetics and superettes

A phone shop in Adjamé records the IMEI of each handset from the supplier's box to the buyer's hand, a cosmetics shop in Treichville keeps each shade of foundation as its own variant, and a superette in Cocody runs every basket past a USB scanner.

  • New shops beyond Abidjan

Your main store can stay in Abidjan while a new shop in Bouaké, Yamoussoukro or San-Pédro joins the business from its first day of trading. Every carton sent there travels on a transfer that waits for approval, and the figures of each shop stay separate, so you can tell which one is paying its way.

Point of sale features

Everything you need at the counter: a fast POS screen on any device, flexible payments, and receipts your customers can keep.

  • Fast checkout

Search or scan products, apply discounts and promo codes, and complete a sale in seconds on a computer, tablet or phone.

  • Barcode scanning

Scan with a USB scanner, a phone or tablet camera, or weighing-scale labels that carry the weight in the barcode.

  • Mobile money

Take MTN MoMo and Orange Money at the till and in your online shop.

  • Receipts and invoices

Print receipts on 58mm or 80mm thermal paper or A4, or send them by email or SMS. Turn quotations into sales and PDF invoices.

  • Held sales and returns

Park a sale and finish it later, and take returns at the till that put items straight back into stock.

  • Cash register

Open and close the register, record cash in and out, and see what the drawer should hold at the end of each shift.

  • Customers and loyalty

Keep customer records and balances, and reward repeat buyers with loyalty points they spend at the till.

  • Keeps selling offline

If the internet drops while you sell, ArmPOS keeps recording sales on the device and syncs them when you're back online.

Inventory management features

Know what you have, where it is and what it's worth, in every shop and warehouse. Your stock updates itself as you sell, buy, return and transfer.

  • Multi-branch inventory

Track stock in every shop and warehouse, down to the rack, from one account.

  • Stock transfers

Move stock between branches with transfers that need approval, so every item is accounted for.

  • Low stock alerts

Set an alert quantity per product, and the bell, the dashboard and the quantity alerts report show what to reorder in each branch.

  • Purchases and suppliers

Raise purchase orders, receive stock into the right warehouse and track what you owe each supplier.

  • Batches and expiry dates

Track batches with expiry dates and sell the earliest-expiring stock first, for pharmacies and food businesses.

  • Serial and IMEI numbers

Record serial or IMEI numbers for phones and electronics, and trace every unit from purchase to sale.

  • Variants and units

Sell in sizes and colours, by the pack or by the piece, with unit conversions handled for you.

  • Counts and adjustments

Download a count sheet by warehouse and category, then record adjustments and damages so your records match the shelf.

Run the whole business

Beyond the till: your online shop, your accounts, your team and the tools you already use, in the same system as your sales and stock.

  • Your online shop

Your own web shop with collections and banners. Customers pay by card or cash on delivery, and orders come from the same stock.

  • Accounting and profit

Expenses, cash and bank accounts, profit and loss, and a full accounting module with journals, a trial balance and a balance sheet.

  • About 60 reports

Sales, payments, tax, customers, suppliers, staff and inventory reports, including stock value, ageing and expiry, to print or export.

  • Staff and permissions

Give each person their own login and decide what they can see and do. Keep shifts, leave and attendance records too.

  • Integrations

Sync products, stock and orders with WooCommerce and Shopify, and send your sales to QuickBooks as invoices.

  • Messages and campaigns

Send invoices and marketing campaigns by email, SMS and WhatsApp to bring customers back.

  • Hardware that fits

Works with USB barcode scanners, 58mm and 80mm receipt printers, label printers, a customer display and cash drawers through QZ Tray, or simply the phone you already have.

  • Kitchen display

Send orders from the till straight to a kitchen screen, so cafés and takeaways prepare them in order without paper tickets.

Frequently asked questions

What is the best POS for a maquis in Yopougon?
A maquis needs orders to reach the grill quickly and drinks to stay counted. In ArmPOS each order rung up at the till appears on the kitchen display, a table's bill can be held open until the group is ready to pay, and beer bought by the crate is sold by the bottle with the stock right in both.
A customer pays half in cash and half by Orange Money. Can one sale take both?
Yes. Enter the cash amount, put the remainder on Orange Money or MTN MoMo, and both payments are kept on that one sale. The expected cash in the drawer then counts only the notes, so the evening close is not thrown out by money that never passed through it.
Can shoppers at my superette in Cocody see each price as it is scanned?
Yes. Connect a customer display beside the till and the shopper watches the items and the total appear as the cashier scans. Doubts about a price are cleared up before anyone pays, which keeps the line moving in the busy hour after work.
My waiters and cashiers work in shifts. Can ArmPOS keep their hours?
Yes. Record each person's shifts, leave and attendance in ArmPOS, next to the login and role you gave them. Since every sale carries the name of whoever rang it up, a cashier's takings can be set against the hours they were on duty.
How do I pay for ArmPOS in Côte d'Ivoire?
A small maquis or a single phone stall can run on Starter for as long as 1 branch, 2 users and up to 50 products are enough, without paying and without giving a card. When the maquis has more waiters than Starter allows, the paid plan it moves to is billed in CFA francs at that day's rate and paid by MTN MoMo or Orange Money. A group of shops moves to Professional for up to 5 warehouses, or to Enterprise when no limit should apply.
Can other businesses, or my own staff, see figures they shouldn't?
Nobody from another business can open your maquis's takings, since every company on ArmPOS gets a database of its own and each connection to it is encrypted. Within the business, every waiter and cashier has a login of their own, and the role you give them sets the limits: a waiter can take orders without seeing the day's takings, and only the people you choose may change a price.
Can I record rent, electricity and other expenses and see what is really left?
Yes. Enter each expense when you pay it, from the rent to the charcoal for the grill, against the cash or bank account it came out of. The profit and loss report then weighs those costs against the month's sales, and the trial balance and balance sheet are ready whenever an accountant asks.
A medicine is running low at my pharmacy in the Plateau. How do I know when to reorder?
Set the quantity at which each medicine should be reordered, and when stock falls under it ArmPOS flags the product on the bell and the dashboard. The Product Quantity Alerts report gathers every such medicine into one list, which you can use to write the purchase order for your wholesaler. When the delivery arrives, enter each batch with the date printed on its boxes, so the till hands out the batch that expires soonest before any other.
