Why ArmPOS

One system for sales, inventory and every branch

Most small businesses juggle a till, a stock book and a spreadsheet. ArmPOS brings your point of sale, inventory management, purchasing and accounting into one system, so every sale updates your stock and your numbers at once.

Every branch, one view

See stock in every shop and warehouse from one account, down to the rack. Move items between branches with approved transfers, and every movement is recorded.

Know before you run out

Set an alert quantity for each product. When stock falls to it, ArmPOS flags it in the notification bell and on the dashboard, branch by branch, so you reorder before a customer leaves empty-handed.

Speaks your team's language

Use ArmPOS in 24 languages, including English, Spanish, French, Arabic, Hindi and Chinese, with right-to-left screens for Arabic.

Profit you can see

Sales, profit and stock value update with every sale. Open the dashboard on any device and know how today is going, branch by branch.

Sell online too

Open your own online shop with the same products and stock. Online orders become sales in ArmPOS, so you never sell what you no longer have.

How ArmPOS works

From sign-up to daily profit

Create your free account and set up your shop in minutes. Import products, customers and suppliers from Excel, and give each person on your team their own login.

Scan the carton or search for the item, give a regular retailer the usual discount, then choose notes, card or transfer. Part of the bill can stay on the retailer's account, and companies get an A4 invoice.

Every sale, purchase, return and transfer updates your inventory. See what your stock is worth and what is running low in each branch.

Sales, profit, inventory and staff reports for any branch and any dates, ready to print or export to PDF and Excel.

Madina, the port and the roads inland

Most of Guinea's imports come in through the port of Conakry, and Madina's wholesalers sell them on to shops up-country. ArmPOS keeps that stock, the retailers' debts and the notes in the drawer in one app, on the trader's own phone.

  • The drawer, the card and the transfer

Notes are still the payment Guineans prefer, and ArmPOS counts them sale by sale, beside cards tapped on your bank's terminal and bank transfers. The terminal stays independent of ArmPOS, which only keeps the method the cashier picks. One sale can take notes and a transfer together, and the payments report puts them on two lines.

  • Guinean francs, with all their zeros

Prices, invoices and the month's margin are kept in Guinean francs (GNF), even when a wholesale total runs to seven digits. The Guinean franc is not pegged to any other currency. So a paid plan's franc amount follows the dollar rate, worked out again each day on the pricing section.

  • Wholesalers, hardware stores and pharmacies

At Madina, a wholesaler sells rice and oil by the sack or carton to retailers who pay on their next trip. In Boké, a hardware store supplies mining subcontractors on account, with a PDF invoice for each delivery. In N'Zérékoré, a pharmacy books each delivery as a dated batch, and the till offers the box that expires before the rest.

  • Kankan, Labé and N'Zérékoré

Open a shop in Kankan, on the road to Mali, or in Labé, up in the Fouta Djallon, on your Conakry account. The truck leaves Conakry on a transfer a manager approves, then each shop sells with its own team and stock. You compare Kankan and Labé without their figures running together.

Point of sale features

Everything you need at the counter: a fast POS screen on any device, flexible payments, and receipts your customers can keep.

  • Fast checkout

Search or scan products, apply discounts and promo codes, and complete a sale in seconds on a computer, tablet or phone.

  • Barcode scanning

Scan with a USB scanner, a phone or tablet camera, or weighing-scale labels that carry the weight in the barcode.

  • Split payments

Take cash, card and other methods in one sale, and record exactly how each customer paid.

  • Receipts and invoices

Print receipts on 58mm or 80mm thermal paper or A4, or send them by email or SMS. Turn quotations into sales and PDF invoices.

  • Held sales and returns

Park a sale and finish it later, and take returns at the till that put items straight back into stock.

  • Cash register

Open and close the register, record cash in and out, and see what the drawer should hold at the end of each shift.

  • Customers and loyalty

Keep customer records and balances, and reward repeat buyers with loyalty points they spend at the till.

  • Keeps selling offline

If the internet drops while you sell, ArmPOS keeps recording sales on the device and syncs them when you're back online.

Inventory management features

Know what you have, where it is and what it's worth, in every shop and warehouse. Your stock updates itself as you sell, buy, return and transfer.

  • Multi-branch inventory

Track stock in every shop and warehouse, down to the rack, from one account.

  • Stock transfers

Move stock between branches with transfers that need approval, so every item is accounted for.

  • Low stock alerts

Set an alert quantity per product, and the bell, the dashboard and the quantity alerts report show what to reorder in each branch.

  • Purchases and suppliers

Raise purchase orders, receive stock into the right warehouse and track what you owe each supplier.

  • Batches and expiry dates

Track batches with expiry dates and sell the earliest-expiring stock first, for pharmacies and food businesses.

  • Serial and IMEI numbers

Record serial or IMEI numbers for phones and electronics, and trace every unit from purchase to sale.

  • Variants and units

Sell in sizes and colours, by the pack or by the piece, with unit conversions handled for you.

  • Counts and adjustments

Download a count sheet by warehouse and category, then record adjustments and damages so your records match the shelf.

Run the whole business

Beyond the till: your online shop, your accounts, your team and the tools you already use, in the same system as your sales and stock.

  • Your online shop

Your own web shop with collections and banners. Customers pay by card or cash on delivery, and orders come from the same stock.

  • Accounting and profit

Expenses, cash and bank accounts, profit and loss, and a full accounting module with journals, a trial balance and a balance sheet.

  • About 60 reports

Sales, payments, tax, customers, suppliers, staff and inventory reports, including stock value, ageing and expiry, to print or export.

  • Staff and permissions

Give each person their own login and decide what they can see and do. Keep shifts, leave and attendance records too.

  • Integrations

Sync products, stock and orders with WooCommerce and Shopify, and send your sales to QuickBooks as invoices.

  • Messages and campaigns

Send invoices and marketing campaigns by email, SMS and WhatsApp to bring customers back.

  • Hardware that fits

Works with USB barcode scanners, 58mm and 80mm receipt printers, label printers, a customer display and cash drawers through QZ Tray, or simply the phone you already have.

  • Kitchen display

Send orders from the till straight to a kitchen screen, so cafés and takeaways prepare them in order without paper tickets.

Frequently asked questions

What is the best point of sale software for a Madina wholesaler who sells on credit?
The one that stops credit at the right moment. In ArmPOS each retailer from Kankan or Labé has a record with a ceiling you set. Credit beyond that ceiling is blocked at the till, whoever is serving. Before you load the next order, the customers report gives you each retailer's balance.
At night I count bundles of 20,000-franc notes. How do I know if anything is missing?
In the morning, enter the float as you open the register. During the day, every note taken out of the drawer, to pay for transport for instance, goes in as cash out. At closing, enter what you counted, and ArmPOS shows what the drawer should have held and the difference to the franc. The cash register report keeps a record of every evening.
A mining subcontractor in Boké buys from me on account. Can ArmPOS invoice it?
Yes. Open a customer record for the company and put each delivery on its account. Every invoice goes out as a PDF by email, addressed to whoever pays the bills there. The record shows what the company has bought and paid, so a disputed balance can be checked invoice by invoice.
I want to sell online and deliver in Ratoma and Matoto. Does ArmPOS have a web shop?
Yes. Put your products online in a web shop of your own, grouped into collections under your banners. An order placed there takes stock from the same shelves the counter sells from. The customer orders from a phone and pays on delivery, and the order lands in ArmPOS beside the day's sales.
How much is ArmPOS in Guinea, and how do I pay for a plan?
Nothing to start: the Starter plan is free with no card, so a wholesaler can enter the stock before training the sellers. When the shop grows, your bank card pays for the plan, in US dollars. To see what each plan includes and today's price in Guinean francs, scroll to the pricing section on this page.
I have one shop in Conakry and another in Kankan. Which one really makes money?
Each shop is a warehouse in ArmPOS, and most reports filter by warehouse. Record each shop's expenses, such as the Kankan rent or the transport from Conakry, against that shop. The analytics report then sets sales, purchases and expenses side by side, shop by shop.
At Madina customers haggle. Can my sellers cut prices without my say-so?
Only if their role allows it. Each seller signs in with their own login, and the role decides whether they may change a price or give a discount. Keep that right for yourself or the manager. A report for each member of staff then shows what every seller sold.
My supermarket in Kaloum wants to reward customers who come back. Does ArmPOS handle loyalty points?
Yes. Tick the loyalty box on a customer's record, and each purchase earns them points. At the till, the seller sees the points available and converts them into a discount on the basket. Each customer's points balance shows in the customer list.
