Why ArmPOS

One system for sales, inventory and every branch

Most small businesses juggle a till, a stock book and a spreadsheet. ArmPOS brings your point of sale, inventory management, purchasing and accounting into one system, so every sale updates your stock and your numbers at once.

Every branch, one view

See stock in every shop and warehouse from one account, down to the rack. Move items between branches with approved transfers, and every movement is recorded.

Know before you run out

Set an alert quantity for each product. When stock falls to it, ArmPOS flags it in the notification bell and on the dashboard, branch by branch, so you reorder before a customer leaves empty-handed.

Speaks your team's language

Use ArmPOS in 24 languages, including English, Spanish, French, Arabic, Hindi and Chinese, with right-to-left screens for Arabic.

Profit you can see

Sales, profit and stock value update with every sale. Open the dashboard on any device and know how today is going, branch by branch.

Sell online too

Open your own online shop with the same products and stock. Online orders become sales in ArmPOS, so you never sell what you no longer have.

An island, the mainland and one account

Much of what an Equatoguinean shop sells is imported, and Spain is the country's main supplier of food and drink, according to INEGE. ArmPOS follows each case from the Malabo or Bata storeroom to the last unit sold.

  • Cash, card and transfer, each with its own total

Most counters in the country take banknotes. If a shopper pays by card on your bank's machine or by transfer instead, the cashier picks that method on the sale. Nothing links ArmPOS to the machine itself. Split a bill between notes and a transfer when a customer asks; the payments report keeps a separate daily figure for each method.

  • CFA francs, even when the invoice is in euros

Receipts, margins and the value of what sits in the storeroom are all in CFA francs (XAF). When a Spanish supplier invoices in euros, enter the purchase cost already converted to francs, so your margin shows in the currency you sell in. Scroll to the pricing section and each plan appears in XAF, worked out from its dollar price at today's rate.

  • Supermarkets, hardware stores and shoe shops

A Malabo supermarket receives frozen chicken and malt beer by the case and sells them by the case or the piece. A hardware store in Bata sells cement by the bag to local builders. In Ebebiyín, a shoe shop stocked from Cameroon keeps every size as a variant with its own barcode.

  • Malabo, Bata and the border at Ebebiyín

A shop you open in Bata, Mongomo or Ebebiyín joins the Malabo account with its own cashiers, storeroom and figures. Whatever crosses the sea from Malabo travels on a transfer a manager approves, and only then leaves one stock and enters the other. Compare the branches side by side, or read each one alone.

Point of sale features

Everything you need at the counter: a fast POS screen on any device, flexible payments, and receipts your customers can keep.

  • Fast checkout

Search or scan products, apply discounts and promo codes, and complete a sale in seconds on a computer, tablet or phone.

  • Barcode scanning

Scan with a USB scanner, a phone or tablet camera, or weighing-scale labels that carry the weight in the barcode.

  • Split payments

Take cash, card and other methods in one sale, and record exactly how each customer paid.

  • Receipts and invoices

Print receipts on 58mm or 80mm thermal paper or A4, or send them by email or SMS. Turn quotations into sales and PDF invoices.

  • Held sales and returns

Park a sale and finish it later, and take returns at the till that put items straight back into stock.

  • Cash register

Open and close the register, record cash in and out, and see what the drawer should hold at the end of each shift.

  • Customers and loyalty

Keep customer records and balances, and reward repeat buyers with loyalty points they spend at the till.

  • Keeps selling offline

If the internet drops while you sell, ArmPOS keeps recording sales on the device and syncs them when you're back online.

Inventory management features

Know what you have, where it is and what it's worth, in every shop and warehouse. Your stock updates itself as you sell, buy, return and transfer.

  • Multi-branch inventory

Track stock in every shop and warehouse, down to the rack, from one account.

  • Stock transfers

Move stock between branches with transfers that need approval, so every item is accounted for.

  • Low stock alerts

Set an alert quantity per product, and the bell, the dashboard and the quantity alerts report show what to reorder in each branch.

  • Purchases and suppliers

Raise purchase orders, receive stock into the right warehouse and track what you owe each supplier.

  • Batches and expiry dates

Track batches with expiry dates and sell the earliest-expiring stock first, for pharmacies and food businesses.

  • Serial and IMEI numbers

Record serial or IMEI numbers for phones and electronics, and trace every unit from purchase to sale.

  • Variants and units

Sell in sizes and colours, by the pack or by the piece, with unit conversions handled for you.

  • Counts and adjustments

Download a count sheet by warehouse and category, then record adjustments and damages so your records match the shelf.

Run the whole business

Beyond the till: your online shop, your accounts, your team and the tools you already use, in the same system as your sales and stock.

  • Your online shop

Your own web shop with collections and banners. Customers pay by card or cash on delivery, and orders come from the same stock.

  • Accounting and profit

Expenses, cash and bank accounts, profit and loss, and a full accounting module with journals, a trial balance and a balance sheet.

  • About 60 reports

Sales, payments, tax, customers, suppliers, staff and inventory reports, including stock value, ageing and expiry, to print or export.

  • Staff and permissions

Give each person their own login and decide what they can see and do. Keep shifts, leave and attendance records too.

  • Integrations

Sync products, stock and orders with WooCommerce and Shopify, and send your sales to QuickBooks as invoices.

  • Messages and campaigns

Send invoices and marketing campaigns by email, SMS and WhatsApp to bring customers back.

  • Hardware that fits

Works with USB barcode scanners, 58mm and 80mm receipt printers, label printers, a customer display and cash drawers through QZ Tray, or simply the phone you already have.

  • Kitchen display

Send orders from the till straight to a kitchen screen, so cafés and takeaways prepare them in order without paper tickets.

Frequently asked questions

What is the best point of sale software for a supermarket in Malabo?
A Malabo supermarket needs one stock count in which a sealed case and a single unit both add up. Cases of chicken, cooking oil and malt beer come in whole, and ArmPOS sells them whole or one at a time, deducting only what leaves. It runs in the browser of the phone, tablet or computer you already have, with nothing to install from an app store.
I have a shop in Malabo and another in Bata. How do I send stock from the island to the mainland?
Use a stock transfer: pick Malabo as the source, Bata as the destination, and add the cases loaded on the boat. Neither city's stock changes until a manager approves it. Once approved, the cases leave the Malabo count and appear in the Bata count. The dashboard then compares both towns' sales on your phone.
Frozen chicken and pork arrive with expiry dates. How do I avoid selling out-of-date stock?
Give every frozen delivery its own batch and copy the use-by date from the carton. The till offers the earliest-dated batch before any newer one, and the expiry report lists what reaches its date in the next few weeks. That leaves time to mark it down or send it back to the supplier.
I sell malt beer by the crate to bars and by the bottle over the counter. Can ArmPOS keep both counts?
Yes. Define the product's units once, such as a crate of 24 bottles, and ArmPOS does the arithmetic. Sell a crate and 24 bottles leave the count; sell one bottle and one leaves, so the storeroom tallies in crates and bottles alike.
How do my customers pay, and how do I balance the drawer at closing?
In cash, by card on your bank's terminal, by transfer, or with several methods on one sale. Record the change float when you open the register each morning, then log every note taken out, such as a delivery driver's fare. At closing, ArmPOS shows what the drawer should hold, and the payments report gives each method's total.
My Bata hardware store sells to builders on credit. Can I cap what each one owes?
Yes. Set a credit limit on each builder's customer record, and the till refuses a credit sale that would pass it. Every bag of cement taken unpaid adds to the balance, and every repayment brings it down. The customers report shows, at any moment, which builder owes how much.
What does ArmPOS cost in CFA francs, and how is it paid?
Starter is the free plan: it takes no card at sign-up, so you can run your own shop's stock through the till before paying anything. Paid plans are charged in US dollars to a card, and the pricing section converts each one to XAF at the day's rate. What each plan includes sits in its own box further down this page.
I sell shoes from Cameroon in Ebebiyín. Can I count each size separately?
Yes. Each shoe model is one product, split into sizes and colours, and every size-colour pair gets a barcode and a count. When pairs arrive without a code, print labels on a label printer and stick them on the boxes. Before you reorder, you see which sizes are running low.
