Why ArmPOS

One system for sales, inventory and every branch

Most small businesses juggle a till, a stock book and a spreadsheet. ArmPOS brings your point of sale, inventory management, purchasing and accounting into one system, so every sale updates your stock and your numbers at once.

Every branch, one view

See stock in every shop and warehouse from one account, down to the rack. Move items between branches with approved transfers, and every movement is recorded.

Know before you run out

Set an alert quantity for each product. When stock falls to it, ArmPOS flags it in the notification bell and on the dashboard, branch by branch, so you reorder before a customer leaves empty-handed.

Speaks your team's language

Use ArmPOS in 24 languages, including English, Spanish, French, Arabic, Hindi and Chinese, with right-to-left screens for Arabic.

Profit you can see

Sales, profit and stock value update with every sale. Open the dashboard on any device and know how today is going, branch by branch.

Sell online too

Open your own online shop with the same products and stock. Online orders become sales in ArmPOS, so you never sell what you no longer have.

How ArmPOS works

From sign-up to daily profit

Create your free account and set up your shop in minutes. Import products, customers and suppliers from Excel, and give each person on your team their own login.

Scan the wax coupon or the laptop's label and type its serial number if it has one. The customer pays in notes, by card or by transfer, or mixes two, and the 80mm printer hands over the receipt.

Every sale, purchase, return and transfer updates your inventory. See what your stock is worth and what is running low in each branch.

Sales, profit, inventory and staff reports for any branch and any dates, ready to print or export to PDF and Excel.

The port, the Grand Marché and the road north

Much of what Togo sells lands at the port of Lomé, and plenty heads straight on to Burkina Faso, Niger and Mali. ArmPOS counts that stock the moment it reaches your depot and follows it to the counter, at the Grand Marché or out in Agoè.

  • How each sale was settled, on record

The cashier picks the method on each sale, whether the buyer counted out notes, tapped a card on your bank's terminal or sent a transfer. ArmPOS keeps that record and never takes control of the terminal. A trader from Ouagadougou who tops up banknotes with a transfer still makes one sale, and the payments report shows the two amounts apart.

  • CFA francs, from coupon to container

A coupon's price, a container's value and the month's margin are all kept in CFA francs (XOF). A paid plan has a dollar price, and the pricing section works out its franc figure again every day. Weigh that figure against the margin on a single container. Every product can also carry a wholesale price beside its retail one.

  • Wax, containers and second-hand goods

At the Grand Marché, a wax trader buys her cloth in 6-yard coupons and keeps each motif as a variant. Near the port, a dealer in laptops shipped from Europe records every machine's serial number. In Agoè, a general food store sells cooking oil by the carton or by the bottle.

  • Atakpamé, Sokodé and Kara

Your depot stays in Lomé while a shop in Atakpamé, Sokodé or Kara joins the account with sellers and stock of its own. Every carton that travels the road north goes on a transfer a manager has to accept. Kara's figures never get mixed into Lomé's.

Point of sale features

Everything you need at the counter: a fast POS screen on any device, flexible payments, and receipts your customers can keep.

  • Fast checkout

Search or scan products, apply discounts and promo codes, and complete a sale in seconds on a computer, tablet or phone.

  • Barcode scanning

Scan with a USB scanner, a phone or tablet camera, or weighing-scale labels that carry the weight in the barcode.

  • Split payments

Take cash, card and other methods in one sale, and record exactly how each customer paid.

  • Receipts and invoices

Print receipts on 58mm or 80mm thermal paper or A4, or send them by email or SMS. Turn quotations into sales and PDF invoices.

  • Held sales and returns

Park a sale and finish it later, and take returns at the till that put items straight back into stock.

  • Cash register

Open and close the register, record cash in and out, and see what the drawer should hold at the end of each shift.

  • Customers and loyalty

Keep customer records and balances, and reward repeat buyers with loyalty points they spend at the till.

  • Keeps selling offline

If the internet drops while you sell, ArmPOS keeps recording sales on the device and syncs them when you're back online.

Inventory management features

Know what you have, where it is and what it's worth, in every shop and warehouse. Your stock updates itself as you sell, buy, return and transfer.

  • Multi-branch inventory

Track stock in every shop and warehouse, down to the rack, from one account.

  • Stock transfers

Move stock between branches with transfers that need approval, so every item is accounted for.

  • Low stock alerts

Set an alert quantity per product, and the bell, the dashboard and the quantity alerts report show what to reorder in each branch.

  • Purchases and suppliers

Raise purchase orders, receive stock into the right warehouse and track what you owe each supplier.

  • Batches and expiry dates

Track batches with expiry dates and sell the earliest-expiring stock first, for pharmacies and food businesses.

  • Serial and IMEI numbers

Record serial or IMEI numbers for phones and electronics, and trace every unit from purchase to sale.

  • Variants and units

Sell in sizes and colours, by the pack or by the piece, with unit conversions handled for you.

  • Counts and adjustments

Download a count sheet by warehouse and category, then record adjustments and damages so your records match the shelf.

Run the whole business

Beyond the till: your online shop, your accounts, your team and the tools you already use, in the same system as your sales and stock.

  • Your online shop

Your own web shop with collections and banners. Customers pay by card or cash on delivery, and orders come from the same stock.

  • Accounting and profit

Expenses, cash and bank accounts, profit and loss, and a full accounting module with journals, a trial balance and a balance sheet.

  • About 60 reports

Sales, payments, tax, customers, suppliers, staff and inventory reports, including stock value, ageing and expiry, to print or export.

  • Staff and permissions

Give each person their own login and decide what they can see and do. Keep shifts, leave and attendance records too.

  • Integrations

Sync products, stock and orders with WooCommerce and Shopify, and send your sales to QuickBooks as invoices.

  • Messages and campaigns

Send invoices and marketing campaigns by email, SMS and WhatsApp to bring customers back.

  • Hardware that fits

Works with USB barcode scanners, 58mm and 80mm receipt printers, label printers, a customer display and cash drawers through QZ Tray, or simply the phone you already have.

  • Kitchen display

Send orders from the till straight to a kitchen screen, so cafés and takeaways prepare them in order without paper tickets.

Frequently asked questions

What is the best point of sale software for a Lomé wholesaler selling to Sahel traders?
The one that turns a quotation into a sale without retyping it. In ArmPOS you draw up the quotation for a trader from Ouagadougou or Niamey and email it. Once the trader agrees, it becomes a sale, the cartons leave stock and the PDF invoice travels with the load.
I sell wax at the Grand Marché. Can I track each motif and sell by the yard?
Yes. Open a product for each quality, from Dutch wax to everyday prints, and add each motif as a variant with its own barcode and stock. Tell ArmPOS once that a coupon holds 6 yards. A seamstress can then take a whole coupon and the next customer 2 yards, and the count still adds up. Within a few weeks you see which motifs sell and which sit on the shelf.
I resell used laptops and phones shipped from Europe. Can I trace each one?
Yes. Enter each device's serial number or IMEI when the lot comes in, and the sale links it to the customer and the date. When a buyer brings back a laptop that won't start, its number shows the day it sold and the price paid. Taken back as a return, the device goes into stock under the same number.
Do I pay anything to start, and how do I pay for a plan from Lomé?
Nothing to start: the Starter plan is free and asks for no card, enough to load your coupons or cartons and sell for real. Upgrading from Lomé is done with a bank card, and the charge comes through in US dollars. The plan cards on this page show each price in CFA francs and what every plan includes.
My supplier sends the container's packing list as an Excel file. Can ArmPOS read it?
Yes. Copy the list into the product import template, with each line's name, code, cost, retail price and wholesale price. Import the file once, and hundreds of lines reach the catalogue without anyone typing them. The opening stock then goes in from a second file, into the warehouse that received the container.
I am opening a shop in Sokodé. How do I send it goods from the Lomé depot?
Give the Sokodé shop its own warehouse in ArmPOS, then send it goods by transfer. The transfer waits for a manager's go-ahead before any stock changes, so no carton leaves without a trace. The seller in Sokodé signs in with a login that only sees that shop.
My buyers from Burkina Faso often pay by bank transfer. How do I find each payment?
Create one payment method per bank account in Settings, one for each bank you use in Lomé. The cashier picks the account the buyer paid into. Day by day, the payments report gives each account's total, so you can tick it off against the bank statement.
After the year-end rush my stock no longer matches the shelves. How do I recount?
Download a count sheet by warehouse and category, say the wax on one sheet and the cosmetics on another. Enter what is really there, and ArmPOS adjusts the difference. Goods damaged in the crowd go in separately as damages, so they are never confused with theft or a till mistake.
