Point of Sale & Inventory Management Software in Tunisia

The chains around you check out fast and know every item on their shelves. ArmPOS gives the corner épicerie and the souk boutique the same point of sale software and inventory management. It runs on a phone and counts in dinars, from Bizerte to Gabès.

Why ArmPOS

One system for sales, inventory and every branch

Most small businesses juggle a till, a stock book and a spreadsheet. ArmPOS brings your point of sale, inventory management, purchasing and accounting into one system, so every sale updates your stock and your numbers at once.

Every branch, one view

See stock in every shop and warehouse from one account, down to the rack. Move items between branches with approved transfers, and every movement is recorded.

Know before you run out

Set an alert quantity for each product. When stock falls to it, ArmPOS flags it in the notification bell and on the dashboard, branch by branch, so you reorder before a customer leaves empty-handed.

Speaks your team's language

Use ArmPOS in 24 languages, including English, Spanish, French, Arabic, Hindi and Chinese, with right-to-left screens for Arabic.

Profit you can see

Sales, profit and stock value update with every sale. Open the dashboard on any device and know how today is going, branch by branch.

Sell online too

Open your own online shop with the same products and stock. Online orders become sales in ArmPOS, so you never sell what you no longer have.

How ArmPOS works

From sign-up to daily profit

Create your free account and set up your shop in minutes. Import products, customers and suppliers from Excel, and give each person on your team their own login.

Scan by camera or USB reader, apply a promo code, take cash and the TPE on one sale, then print an 80mm receipt.

Every sale, purchase, return and transfer updates your inventory. See what your stock is worth and what is running low in each branch.

Sales, profit, inventory and staff reports for any branch and any dates, ready to print or export to PDF and Excel.

Neighbourhood trade, equipped like the chains

Tunisia has hundreds of Aziza, Monoprix, Carrefour and Magasin Général stores, yet most daily shopping still happens at the grocer around the corner. ArmPOS gives that small shop a quick till and stock that is right to the last item, with no hardware to buy first.

  • Cash, TPE and cheque, each with its own total

A shopper may hand over notes, slip a card into the TPE or write a cheque, and the cashier selects whichever was used. The TPE, your bank's card terminal, stays a separate machine, since ArmPOS only writes down how each sale was settled. Bank transfer is there from the start, a cheque method is added in Settings, and one sale can mix two methods.

  • Dinars from the receipt to the plan

From the label on a jar of harissa to the year's profit, every amount is in Tunisian dinars. Further down this page, each plan carries a TND price converted at today's exchange rate. The bill for a paid plan, when you take one, arrives on your card in US dollars.

  • Grocers, perfumers and hardware stores

A superette in Ariana scans every packet and knows what is left on its shelves. A perfumer in Souk El Attarine sells one essence in three bottle sizes, each with its own barcode. In Sfax, a hardware dealer takes in screws by the box and lets a customer leave with just three.

  • Tunis, Sousse, Monastir and Sfax

Your second shop in Sousse or Monastir is added to the existing account, and its stock and cashiers stay separate from the first. To restock Monastir, the Ben Arous depot prepares a stock transfer; once a manager signs it off, Monastir's shelves gain what Ben Arous has lost. Each shop keeps its sales and profit apart.

Point of sale features

Everything you need at the counter: a fast POS screen on any device, flexible payments, and receipts your customers can keep.

  • Fast checkout

Search or scan products, apply discounts and promo codes, and complete a sale in seconds on a computer, tablet or phone.

  • Barcode scanning

Scan with a USB scanner, a phone or tablet camera, or weighing-scale labels that carry the weight in the barcode.

  • Split payments

Take cash, card and other methods in one sale, and record exactly how each customer paid.

  • Receipts and invoices

Print receipts on 58mm or 80mm thermal paper or A4, or send them by email or SMS. Turn quotations into sales and PDF invoices.

  • Held sales and returns

Park a sale and finish it later, and take returns at the till that put items straight back into stock.

  • Cash register

Open and close the register, record cash in and out, and see what the drawer should hold at the end of each shift.

  • Customers and loyalty

Keep customer records and balances, and reward repeat buyers with loyalty points they spend at the till.

  • Keeps selling offline

If the internet drops while you sell, ArmPOS keeps recording sales on the device and syncs them when you're back online.

Inventory management features

Know what you have, where it is and what it's worth, in every shop and warehouse. Your stock updates itself as you sell, buy, return and transfer.

  • Multi-branch inventory

Track stock in every shop and warehouse, down to the rack, from one account.

  • Stock transfers

Move stock between branches with transfers that need approval, so every item is accounted for.

  • Low stock alerts

Set an alert quantity per product, and the bell, the dashboard and the quantity alerts report show what to reorder in each branch.

  • Purchases and suppliers

Raise purchase orders, receive stock into the right warehouse and track what you owe each supplier.

  • Batches and expiry dates

Track batches with expiry dates and sell the earliest-expiring stock first, for pharmacies and food businesses.

  • Serial and IMEI numbers

Record serial or IMEI numbers for phones and electronics, and trace every unit from purchase to sale.

  • Variants and units

Sell in sizes and colours, by the pack or by the piece, with unit conversions handled for you.

  • Counts and adjustments

Download a count sheet by warehouse and category, then record adjustments and damages so your records match the shelf.

Run the whole business

Beyond the till: your online shop, your accounts, your team and the tools you already use, in the same system as your sales and stock.

  • Your online shop

Your own web shop with collections and banners. Customers pay by card or cash on delivery, and orders come from the same stock.

  • Accounting and profit

Expenses, cash and bank accounts, profit and loss, and a full accounting module with journals, a trial balance and a balance sheet.

  • About 60 reports

Sales, payments, tax, customers, suppliers, staff and inventory reports, including stock value, ageing and expiry, to print or export.

  • Staff and permissions

Give each person their own login and decide what they can see and do. Keep shifts, leave and attendance records too.

  • Integrations

Sync products, stock and orders with WooCommerce and Shopify, and send your sales to QuickBooks as invoices.

  • Messages and campaigns

Send invoices and marketing campaigns by email, SMS and WhatsApp to bring customers back.

  • Hardware that fits

Works with USB barcode scanners, 58mm and 80mm receipt printers, label printers, a customer display and cash drawers through QZ Tray, or simply the phone you already have.

  • Kitchen display

Send orders from the till straight to a kitchen screen, so cafés and takeaways prepare them in order without paper tickets.

Frequently asked questions

What is the best point of sale software for a Tunisian grocer with a supermarket next door?
The right choice gives the grocer a chain's tools without new hardware. ArmPOS scans barcodes with the phone's camera, runs promo codes and loyalty points, and flags each product that falls below its alert quantity. Stock is kept item by item in dinars, and the day's sales show on the dashboard.
Many of my customers still pay by cheque. Can ArmPOS keep track of those cheques?
Yes. Create a "Cheque" payment method in Settings, and the cashier picks it when taking payment. The payments report then shows cheques apart from cash, transfers and cards taken on the TPE. A bill settled half by cheque and half in notes stays one sale, with each part under its own method.
How do I do the 31 December stock count one aisle at a time?
Download the count sheet for one category in one depot, tinned goods for instance, and work through the shop section after section. Type in the quantities you actually find, and the system corrects its own figures to match. Breakages and damaged goods are written off on their own, and the stock value report gives the total in dinars.
I sell Deglet Nour dates by the carton and by the kilo. Can ArmPOS track both?
Yes. Set once that a carton holds 5 kg, for example, and ArmPOS does the conversion. A carton sold to a retailer takes 5 kg off the stock, and a kilo bought by a passer-by takes one. Dates from Tozeur or Kebili arrive as batches carrying their expiry dates, and the till puts the batch closest to expiry first.
I hire seasonal sellers in Hammamet every summer. Can I limit what they do at the till?
Yes. Give each seasonal seller a login of their own and a seller role: they take payments and returns but cannot touch prices. Their shifts, leave and attendance stay on their record. When the register closes, ArmPOS gives the amount the drawer should hold.
I run a stall at the Nabeul Friday market. What if the mobile network drops?
Sales carry on, provided the POS was already open when the signal went. On a new phone, that first opening must happen online, so do it on the shop's Wi-Fi before market day. After that, each sale made offline stays on the phone, which must stay on, and reaches your account when the network returns.
Before the school year, I order exercise books and schoolbags in bulk. Does ArmPOS follow the order until delivery?
Yes. The purchase order goes to the supplier, then you receive the delivery into the depot where it lands. Stock rises at that moment, and so does what you owe the supplier, until you pay. Set an alert quantity on each school item, and the bell tells you what to reorder before September.
How much is ArmPOS in dinars, and how do I pay from Tunisia?
Starter is free, with no card needed, and lets a small shop start without spending a dinar. The plan cards above list what each paid plan covers, with its dinar price for today. The charge itself goes through in US dollars, so the card must be enabled for payments abroad.
